I watched Buffy when it aired, but have only recently been watching Angel. This podcast has an excellent analysis/deep dive on each episode. It’s a great listen whether it’s your first time watching or if you’re on your 8th rewatch. My only complaint is Cari’s audio. Not sure if it’s a mic issue or if she’s way too close to the mic, but it’s jarring and kind of crackly or fuzzy most of the time. Love it!
Definitely a good one for fans who want a deep dive into the episodes with lots of attention to detail. I particular enjoy the trivia they splash through about all the shows in the Whedonverse. It’s not my fave pick for witty banter and zingy commentary with lots of attitude but they are fun and have a good sense of humour.
So enjoyed listening to the hosts’ take on Whedon’s work! You can tell they know and love the shows and have a great time together talking about what works and doesn’t and why. Can’t wait to hear their breakdowns of the Angel episodes.
