As a single mom of a daughter that struggles, I often feel alone in my own challenges and thoughts, let alone working for and advocating for her. Each episode brings nuggets of hope, wisdom, and connection! Each of our paths are unique because our kids and situations are unique, and yet we have a great deal in common. Thank you, Kendra, for taking your experience and turning it into work that helps so many!

  • A salve for parents carrying a heavy load

I just love this podcast. Kind, intelligent interviewing and wise guests who have “been there.” I sure coulda used this once upon a time when I was really in it with my special needs kiddo, and it’s a useful re-grounding even all these years later.

I hope there are many more episodes because this podcast provides parents like me a “home”. Bravo! I hope a future episode will cover the debate about ABA an... more
