I’ve really been enjoying this podcast! So nice to spend time with you, Mitchell, and to hear about GCI—the program and the mission sound fantastic, and so important!! Also love learning more about your guests, and particularly loved the visit with Elizabeth Blau!! This is the kind of stuff our “OG”should be doing now, IMO. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I always finish these episodes hungry in several senses: hungry for good food, hungry to grow my culinary expertise, hungry to find and serve a food community, hungry to find my niche in the food ecosystem. more
I’m not a culinary professional but I’m finding this series to be fascinating - especially the Danny Meyer interview!
There is no one quite like Mitchell Davis in the food world. A Ph.D in food science and former EVP at the James Beard Foundation, he knows everyone in the culinary world and everything about food. This promises to be great and it’s very witty and entertaining. I learned more in his interview with Blue Hill’s Dan Barber than anything I’ve read in ages. I look forward to subsequent episodes — a really terrific addition to the world of podcasts.
