I’m sure wrong convictions happen too often but I don’t think a rational person would agree with you on his innocence in the death of his wife and son. All things pointed to Scott and it was of his own doing. He’s a habitual liar, cheater, and all-around narcissistic. I pray he never gets out of jail. This episode mostly made me think that he is paying for a podcast like this or for the coverage. Absolutely disgusting.
I like that there is a podcast exploring wrongful conviction, particularly hi lighting the media’s role in convictions and the tendency for the media to control a cases narrative. However, like any true crime podcast, there is always room for bias and this one I believe boarders on this. Aside from the content, which may be biased or may be for entertainment purposes (who cares? Everyone has their opinions on these cases and she’s sharing hers), it’s very hard to listen to these episodes. Host whispers into the microphone and at full volume in my vehicle, it can still be hard to hear. more
