Good content
Brilliant podcast! The boy’s chemistry are great.
Some good insights into life in Japan and chat about Hokkaido. Go back and find episodes on the topics you’re interested in. I find there’s more and more chitchat and banter, it can a long time before they reach the show’s selected topic and they can get easily sidetracked. Now part of the fun is the easy conversation rather than the hosts reading out a list but it could be a bit sharper, it’d be a really great resource for new residents and tourists in Japan.
I listen to VIJ at work almost every day. I really enjoy the dialogue and the info these goobers put out, as I have been interested in visiting Japan for a very long time. Now that the country is opened back up, hopefully soon I will get the opportunity to visit Sapporo myself- a place I didn’t know anything about until this podcast. Keep up the good work!
I usually enjoy Ben and Burke’s casual talk. As a Japanese who worked in both Japan and the U.S., the guest’s opinion on Japanese stereotypes is often not true.
