Just discovered madmen in 2023. When the show first aired I was a kid and couldn’t appreciate a plot centering on people in their 30’s navigating marriage and a career. I’d always heard about it but never bothered watching it. Oh, man! What an absolute gem of a show! I’m currently on season 4 and I love listening to this podcast as a kind of commentary after I finish an episode. The male host is great. He’s thoughtful and offers great character analysis. I had had this podcast on the back burner until I got access to Mad Men. I like that the hosts don’t get off the beaten path and talk about things unrelated to the show and that there isn’t a lot of goofing off about other stuff and that they keep it on topic. Reminds me of the shows that Mary and Blake Larsen do. Excellent show.
