Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 8: 2024 Season Review
Q: Are you looking at swim paces you've done for certain sets, bike power, for certain workouts?
Yeah, I would do that, and one thing that I did notice from this year is that although I was in my best 10K and half marathon shape, my Ironmans weren't running as well.
Ep 8: 2024 Season Review
Q: Do you think deep down you knew that? Did you feel less Ironman run fit, for example, than you had in previous years?
In training, I was doing really well. And it was going really well off the bike in those cases. So it was strange, because I was going into the races, expecting to run really well.
Ep 8: 2024 Season Review
Q: How do you evaluate your races and go, okay, this is my strengths, weaknesses is what I got to work on?
I break it down through each sport and just start off with a bit like swimming and go on to the bike and then go on to the run end.
Ep 7: The Best Bodyweight Exercises for Runners
Q: Why is a strong hamstring important in team sports?
Hamstrings are essential for high-velocity motions, especially in sprinting and kicking, leading to a high injury risk if not properly trained.
Ep 7: The Best Bodyweight Exercises for Runners
Q: What exercises do you think I would have given you?
Joe and Nick initially suggested calf raises and single leg squats but later realized the discussed exercises were the Nordic Hamstring Curl and the Copenhagen Plank.
