I thought this was a very well-researched podcast with a lot of thought and passion put behind it. I appreciated that the narrator was more monotone with his voice because it felt more respectful. The narration was less dramatic than other true crime podcasts which i liked because it sounded more respectful to me considering that these were real people
I liked this podcast but I don’t agree whith “the grimace” Jake made when admitting he murdered Hanna Mae I saw a gleeful smile he tried to stifle.
And sees the world for their cold, black and white facts; many of which he is proud to read off to you from public records searches he has done. Dave accepts these facts as they are, and in my opinion does not even see the potential for nuance in said facts. Also, the way he spoke about “illegal marijuana” really got under my skin, even daring to compare its use to that of opioids and methamphetamine.
