I thought this was going to be awesome. Sadly, it’s really dry. I couldn’t even finish this podcast (5 episodes left).
Love these bubbly vamps, you can tell the players enjoy their characters with their tone. Speaking of tone, Charlie sets a gritty mood with her excellent choice of descriptive language and paints a nice dark portrait of the world around the players. Just don’t @ her about car mechanics OK?
The concept of this actual play campaign is amazing. Add to it fast, fun mechanics of the Cypher system, the slow, tense sizzle of Charlie's GMing style, a super talented and dynamic cast of fantastic roleplayers, and great production quality ... and all-in-all, Lost Girls is already right up there at the top of the list of best actual play podcasts you'll find on the internet. Bloody fun!
Seriously - props to the cast and crew of this absolute delight of a podcast. The premiere was amazing, and I cannot wait to see where the series goes. Caught the stream of the first season (go catch it on EncounterRoleplay's YouTube channel, you'll thank me later), and am so pumped for the second! Audio balance was good, quality was fantastic, and the characters are still as compelling as ever. If you're thinking of taking a bite outta this podcast, do so - you won't regret it.
All I can say is it’s an amazing show and the whole crew is awesome can’t wait for more episodes!!!
