Thanks Georgia, I've listened to 4 of your episodes and gotten a heap from them. I'm a new Aikido student and had to work through some old challenges to get onto the mats. I enjoy your focus on the body’s response to stress and how martial arts can help. This podcast also fits well with my work supporting parents - the parenting world is also learning how co-regulation and connection are the key to a thriving family. Loving the synchronicities! Thanks for all your hard work, care and skill in pu... more
This is a really informative podcast. As a martial artist of several years I really connect with how women feel about martial arts and the emotional connection you can have with your sport. This podcast has really broadened my knowledge about trauma and the connection it has with martial arts.

Discussing really important things in a really accessible way
Brilliant series explaining the link between martial arts and the helpful and healing role it can have both on mental health, and specifically on trauma. A mix of scientifically researched information and real life examples from those involved in martial arts and psychology - my favourite part is that it is clear and easy to follow! and hosted by someone passionate about this project and podcast series. Only listen if you are prepared to get excited about martial arts!
