Alex is a pro host and has on some amazing folks to talk about the challenges and joys of being a dad. He's not afraid to go deep when the conversation calls for it, but he also provides some much needed levity to some of the tougher parts about being a parent. For dads of all ages and experience levels!
This show is great! Alex started with his dad journey, and kept asking others about their own journey. A lot of stories about becoming/being a dad, but also some great resource episodes that every parent can use. Alex does a great job of making an interview just sound like a conversation. Highly, highly recommend!
What a great show. Mostly interviews with "regular" dads all getting through raising their kids in their own way. There are also other interviews sprinkled in with a therapist, doctor, and even a pharmacist. Listen to one, and you will want to listen to the next. Listen to episode 81 about the foster dad. That guy is very special in having changed the lives of so many kids. Guiding them from the streets to college graduates. All the dads are awesome here.
Truly enjoy these podcast sessions, especially the one on Foster care! 😂🤣lol!!! more
Great podcast for new and "experienced" dads alike! Great job, Alex
A fantastic podcast not just for those expecting children, but any who are interested in the tiny magical moments that occur in the life of a family. Alex is a fantastic narrator, and the joy reflected in his voice throughout he and Deanna's journey is contagious. While it is easy to get caught up in the negativity of the times in which we live, The Dad Chronicles is a stellar reminder the of love and excitement that still exists.
Fun, exhilarating, honest, pure, love...
