  • He got me on the leggings :(

First encountered Dr. Strachan on an Anchored North debate where he was just ID’d as a professor named “Owen.” Little did I know he was THE Owen Strachan. I heard some other talks of his on Dial In ministries on YouTube, and saw him at G3 and now appreciating his podcast. I appreciate his self-deprecating humor and engagement with cultural topics, especially masculinity. I just listened to his episode on modesty & leggings today and as a woman who has lived in leggings for probably 10+ years, it... more

  • Grateful

Owen Strachen unashamedly presents gospel truth amid a sea of evangellyfish minded men who cave to the ever changing cultural demands.

  • Excellent Perspective

I’m from Yarmouth, Maine and didn’t hear the gospel until age 26 in wyoming. I could not have told you anything about Jesus or the Bible. Mr. Strahan, please encourage young pastors to consider ministry in Maine. It is an incredibly dark culture that needs the light of the gospel to shine brightly. Thank you for your ministry.

I’m a new listener, and this podcast has refreshing balance that is so hard to find in a polarized world, both politically and theologically. You communicate truth firmly, while always maintaining a gracious tone toward those with whom you disagree, and I really appreciate that.

  • More Jesus, less Hollywood

As a pastor to men, I’d hoped that the evangelical fixation on movie heroes had peaked back at “Wild at Heart,” but here we are again fan-boying over Maximus—and now the self-loathing gunslinger Doc Holliday. We badly need solid teaching on Biblical manhood, but this isn’t the way.
