I just listened to Dan’s episode 43 this was really inspiring and beneficial and covered a lot of topics which I am having problems with. Dan looks after his Students sending Emails and gives advice. These Podcasts are excellent and while a bit of fun. They are inspirational full of tips to help you on your Guitar Journey. Excellent.
Great information, thought provoking, skills to practice and master along with a look into Dan’s life and thought processes. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher who helps me unravel the skills to play guitar and keep the Gatekeeper at bay.
Don Thorpe is an interesting dude with an interesting podcast. He channels his positive and zany energy into fun ways to encourage and instruct guitarists! Rather than drills and complicated instruction - which would be rather difficult to deliver via podcast, Don focused on the mental game of motivation and keeping the guitar fun! more
I must agree about how important ear training is. more
I love this podcast. It’s very helpful to learn more about my instrument and how to play it. It also makes it easy to just enjoy playing it any way you can imagine, and not be so focused on a topic that it’s only goal is to say you were taught something. It strives to make you appreciate what you’ve learned that episode.
