I really like this podcast. I was looking for an alternative to reading the whole series. I’m 3 books in and it’s great having the hosts excitedly sharing their likes & dislikes of the books, chapter by chapter. It’s like hanging out w/friends. I also appreciate the discussions of writing craft. I’m watching the tv show but the talking about writing techniques means I will also be reading at least the 1st book. Try it out!

Sometimes I feel like they are being too hard on the author and show writers, but ultimately the appreciation of the lore comes through. Like a lot of people, I started reading the series after seeing the first season of the show. At first I was way behind in my reading, but the books are so good I’m now about 3 books ahead… oops!
