  • Excellent podcast - background music too loud

This is the best podcast on this platform. However, the background music has become too loud to the point that it’s hard to concentrate on the spoken word. Please fix it, Nora. more

  • One of the best shows about new tech and innovation

I’m always learning new things - and leave with a book recommendation or two. Nora Young is one of the best interviewers. Just a great show.

  • Very disappointing final episode. Failed to address the larger cultural and practical effects in any significant or meaningful way. Focusing on mix tapes appeals to narrow niche of the population. For example the program on refrigeration had a global impact on agriculture, nutrition, climate change, etc. Maybe the Nixon tapes, or Roosevelt's declaration of were mentioned, but I stopped listening at 48:30. I think I gave this podcast a fair chance before abandoning. Loved the series generally.

  • Years ago I would of given it 4 or 5, but it is now awash in "social justice". Just listened to 3 episodes in a row, and each one used the phrase "a bunch of white guys".
