I love the ecosystem of this pod, the laid back NFL chat vibes with lots of good guests. The host keeps me from loving this pod. I think he’s a really solid writer and journalist, but he’s really pretentious, thinks his ideas are always peak, and it’s missing the “good hang” vibes that you usually seek in a pod. I listen weekly, good content, appreciate the hard work.
I love the pod and it’s quite apparent that Kevin is well-connected and his football acumen is centered in well-thought out perspective and experiences.
Super knowledgeable, good contacts, but loves the sound of his own voice and brings guests on just to hear him talk.
This podcast is highly entertaining and keeps itself from becoming too nerdy like some others on this network. Also I’ve never gotten into UFC but I absolutely LOVE listening to Ariel Helwani any time he makes an appearance.
An intelligent football podcast.
