I love this podcast! Ray is so easy to listen to, and has such interesting insights into all sorts of RGPs. I don’t get to play much these days and have a great fondness for old school games especially. Plundergrounds is a really nice way for me to stay connected to gaming.
It doesn't get better than this. This guy has interesting, outside the box takes on old boring fantasy norms. Likewise, he has very personal words to share from decades of experience being a GM
I find Ray’s opinions interesting and his suggestions and takes really useful as a GM. Also, some great guests and call ins. Furthermore, the production values are great and he’s an excellent presenter.
I really enjoy this podcast and get a lot out of it. Not only do I think of Ray as one of the best minds our hobby has, but I even really enjoy when he rambles, gets off topic, or gives life advice. Great podcast. The varying episode lengths are great for me because I don’t always have time to focus on 40+ minutes of audio, so those 18 minute episodes are much appreciated.
The world of indie RPGs is small. Don’t believe me? People often know ILLUSTRATORS by first name. Likewise, the fan community of content creators is also small, sometimes endearingly so. Everyone is there because they want to be, and it shows. more
