Geph and Soraya don’t tackle their subject, they give it a warm, not too flirty, hug. This is a show of love, not nitpicking and critiquing. Who needs that anyway? This is a fun way to revisit a great scene, a great time and it’s best done among friends. Pull up a beanbag chair, and groove on, paisley people!
Geoff has a good band called Smoky Ghosts of Big Trees. After you listen to this podcast, check out their new album on iTunes, Amazon, You Tube, everywhere....

A lot of surprises and fun lurking in the corners of this show. Geoff, who has been in a few bands, brings his musician’s insight, and superfan Soraya asks interesting questions. Gieff promises an upcoming Long Ryders episode soon, so I’ll stay tuned for sure. Hey Jehf, how about Opal?
If you keep a special place in our hearts for the “Paisley Underground” of the early 80s, you will totally enjoy this podcast, the loving creation of two adoring fans. I came for the Steve Wynn interview and stayed for the discussions and turntable spins. I got Days of Wine and Roses in 1983 at age 15 and am finally going to see the Dream Syndicate this coming May. I love what I’m learning here about the other bands I didn’t know as well. Hoping for more interviews with band members!
