I saw a review of Ian's book, "I Am Not A Wedding Photographer", then heard him being interviewed by Ben Smith on his "A Small Voice" podcast. Ben mentioned that Ian had his own podcast and Martin Parr had interviewed him for one episode. Ian's back-story and hearing that Martin was involved piqued my interest. As a very new hobbyist photographer, this podcast has opened up the history of photography to me through the discussions of photographers, books and art. Equally important is the focus on finding your own voice; both presenters have done in their own ways. The discussions are fascinating, particularly about the relationship of the photographer to their subject. Inspirational, irreverent and thought-provoking, as well as funny AF.

Highly entertaining, funny, inspiring and informative / useful with great guests. I've discovered more great photographers and photography books (either directly or indirectly) that I'd never heard of before as a result of listening to these podcasts (I always end up down a rabbit hole). Not wanting to blow too much smoke up their proverbials but, as far as I can tell, there's nothing else out there that even comes close to this. Thanks chaps, sterling work.
