  • A podcast so good they should make us pay for it

Two years ago I was a happy imperial soldier eager to do my part and make the world safe for democracy. After hours and hours of listening to Scott and Karl over these past few years, I can say that this podcast was my gateway to questioning the reality I was living in and beginning my journey out of the cave of modernity and into the reality of humanity. My wife and I even have our own home garden and are successfully raising coturnix quail (the gateway livestock). Thank you for everything you ... more

  • Thought-provoking, life-changing

I can’t categorize this Podcast…but it’s perfect. Two down-to-earth guys with lofty philosophical minds talking plainly about great works of literature, philosophy, etc. The Restoration of Realism episode (the first I listened to) inspired us to send our 18yo son to Clear Creek for a month…and to consider farming ourselves. (For a doctor and lawyer to consider farming is a big leap, but the truth can hit hard and strong.). Thanks to you both! Keep up your work!

  • Two heads are better than one

I read “A Canticle for Leibowitz” at fourteen so it’s great knowing that now, six hundred years later, folks are still talking about it. Love your banter and enthusiasm.

  • Just love the show

I just keep pressing play. Love the discussions and the personalities of you guys. Thanks for provoking great thoughts while having fun. You have figured the balancing act of being serious when required and also not taking yourselves too seriously. Anybody dumping on this show needs two friends like Scott and Karl to bring you around to true friendship and reality. more
