Having a baby girl in Oct 2022. This has been a very helpful introduction to fatherhood. These guys are pretty laid back and aren’t too serious which makes it easy to listen to. Thank you!
Hello Eric and Dustin! Just wanted to say I love the podcast! Right now I’m on episode 58 and just loving the content. I’m twenty three years old and going to have a baby with my girlfriend that I’ve been with for 8 happy years. We are excited and scared about this new journey. I came across the podcast looking for anything that can give me tips and advice on being a father and a supportive partner. I love the honesty you guys always give out. I’m really scared and anxious about all this but you... more
Found these guys back in Feb ’20 when my first kid was born and I had no idea about anything kid related. I was an uncle to my sister’s kids but needed some “dude” guidance that I could understand and could get my simple brain behind. Dustin and Eric made being a new dad much less scary and my wife was surprised at how natural and confident I was with our son right away. Now that I have 2 kids, I’m still listening because they have 5 kids between them and have lots of knowledge and simple tricks... more
I listened to all 30 in about a week and a half. Great pod for a new dad. Number one pro tip, these guys talk so slowly it makes them sound like they are underwater. I listen at 2x speed and can’t get enough. Their voices are much more pleasant fast too!! more
Glad to see these guys are back. I love this podcast and was nervous that it had ended due to no episodes in almost a month.
My son was born 2 days ago, but prior to that I was casually surfing Spotify for a good podcast relating to being a new dad. The title caught my eye and after the first episode I was hooked and binge listened to almost every episode available(I wear headphones at work and have a decent commute as well).I was able to relate to the idea of becoming a new dad and having a lot of questions. The first few episodes aren’t terrific sound quality wise, but make up for it in content. If you can get throu... more
I’ve been listening to you guys since my wife and I found out we were having our first child about 2 weeks ago and an currently on episode 9. As exciting as it was to find out I was also terrified because I know absolutely nothing about having a child. You guys have helped an immense amount at relaxing me with the advice and information you guys have given. I really appreciate and am thankful for this podcast.
Been a long time listener, something I started listening too before my daughter was born and I have been hooked ever since. Congrats guys on getting to episode 80. Love the content and the banter between Eric and Dustin made the whole journey into fatherhood not feel so scary. If you’re a new dad or an experienced one there is something here for you! Highly recommend starting from the beginning and growing along with these guys, tons of insight and great stories along the way.
