I started listening after Dr. Daniels was elected GS. Nearly every episode I wind up adding a book to my to be read pile. It is great to hear theological insights from his guests. Very good interviews and the experts offer great insight on various aspects of faith. I’m glad I am late but here for it.
I grew up in churches that were afraid of biblical scholars—especially those who didn’t say what they wanted to hear in the words they expected to hear. I love the project of this podcast: keeping the academy and the local church connected and in conversation with each other. This podcast has become a valued part of my limited time available for media.
This is the best podcast! Makes sense as Dr. Daniels has and is one of the best professors I’ve had at Nazarene Theological Seminary!
Since “New Creation Conversations” began, I’ve not missed one episode. This is, by far, my favorite podcast. I tell many friends about “New Creation Conversations.” Dr. Scott Daniels is rendering a much-needed service to both Christ’s church and the academy in sharing his conversations with outstanding scholars and pastoral/denominational leaders.
