  • Invaluable for aspiring song writers

I just enjoy the heck out of these interviews. The guy interviewing is top notch. You have done your homework! I agree with Campbell on that one. These artists are folks have found joy in their lives playing music while being good friends and family on this lonely rock. I’d love to hear Delbert McClinton, another Texas legend. Thank you Texas! He’s getting pretty old so you might get to it. I saw him open for the Stones in Dallas in ‘07. His memoir came out a few weeks ago.

  • Not just for music fans, but mostly for music fans

I have been listening to this podcast for a few weeks now. I have probably heard about 6 episodes so far. It's most likely I will listen to them all. He seems to like guitar players, but not strictly, photographers seem to be poplular. I like that his subjects tend to be Artists as opposed to celebrities. The closest to a celebrity has been Mike Campbell and I'm completely alright with that. The interview with Mike was GREAT.

Thoughtful, informed questions. You can tell Campbell--and your other interview subjects--appreciate that. So does this listener. Look forward to lots more interviews about craft with musicians and others.
