Really enjoying the show so far! The team behind it seems really nice and fun, and it's cool getting to see a new mix of folks every arc.
Love this show! Myth Takes is a supernatural actual play ttrpg that uses the powered by the apocalypse system. GM Colin does an awesome job creating a game that is perfect for anybody who enjoys shows like Buffy the Vampire slayer and the X-files. I love the fact that there is a rolling cast of characters which keep this game fresh and exciting. Can’t wait to see where the story goes!
This fate-fuled adventure starts off at the dance, as every highschool story should. The characters interact well and the story is enchanced by sound effects and music. The rules explanations help me understand what they're doing, so it's great even if you don't understand the game system. Excited to hear how this mystery continues.
I love that this show has contained story arcs and a rotating cast- it makes it distinct and easy to listen to while also giving a great snapshot of all the playbooks offered by the Monster of the Week system. The cast is diverse and have created some really cool unique characters, and they always handle sensitive issues with respect. The only downside: I miss characters between arcs!!
9(?) Monster hunters. Multiple arcs occurring at once. Destiny has brought them together to save the world. Probably. It's spooky. It's funny. It's a game based on the monster hunting TV tropes, ranging from Supernatural to Scooby Doo. The players are all beloved podcast personalities, and they'll delight you as they play this as much as they do on their normal shows.
You know that sweet spot right inbetween Buffy and Scooby Doo? This that.
HEY! YES! more
This is the most fun and rewarding show I've ever worked on, and my co-hosts are incredible. I can't wait to see where we can take this show!
