Interesting, but sound is very bad, unfortunately.
Really like how the speaker is not afraid to take on questions as he is getting threw the corse. Also, grate to hear the words opinion vs theory being used rather “fact/ proof”. Who ever reads this please know talks like this could help many people who you might not think would be the audience.
Tried to listen to a episode (22) but the speech was so awful and distracting. more
This is wonderful. Yes the first episode is a lot about getting added to the class, almost nonsense but reminds me of being in college. There are about three lectures where he asks students to describe what they see, hard to relate when you can’t see what is being presented. Once you get past that there are some things that will make you think. It’s fun. Good for my walk at lunch break especially.
The audio quality is not the greatest but still listenable. The Professor is very informative and actually pretty funny. The first few minutes of Ep. 1 is going over the syllabus and course, after that the actual content starts. Highly recommend!
I've casually listened to these lectures very very randomly for several years now. I often quite enjoy them. I think Jeremy Wolfe's lecture style manages to present very well through audio and I'm very thankful to MIT & Prof. Wolfe for posting this content! :)
I’ve grown a new interest recently, in psychology actually. and throughout this amazing course I found out that I wasn’t wrong. I, as a genius!, usually prefer more challenging subjects and now, thanks to brilliant proffesor Wolfe, I know that psychology is a science in its youth and there’s too much that one can study, research and explore in it. more
I love prof wolfe's introduction as much as if not more than prof bloom's. Please fix lectures 9 and 10 please. It's a shame :(
