A really interesting topic but it could have been three 30 min episodes rather than 10 15min episodes with lots of repetition. Each 15 min episode has about 5 mins of actual content.
I absolutely love this show and so far it has brought outstanding stories and amazing direction. However, season 6 simply doesn’t merit the title “intrigue”. It’s bland, buzzy and basic and belongs in the YouTube bin of Vox and similar bite sized documentaries. Why this was chosen for this otherwise stellar series is beyond me and the bubbly and shallow presentation of it (courtesy of its creator) keep diluting the value Intrigue has. Please remove it and everyone can pretend it never happened.
This show just gets worse by the season. Why are the episodes 10 minutes long with 3 minutes of intros and extros not to mention the ads? If you can't make a good 30-60 minutes of content like normal podcasts then don't release them as frequently. And cut the repetitions in the beginning from the previous episode... you mean the previous 10 minutes? more
This is a con to lure you into subscribing. I thought the BBC was an ethical organisation, I was wrong and now I’m having trouble unsubscribing. I will never listen to any of your rubbish again and I will tell all my colleagues to do the same. You are a disgrace.
