The example of being a Christian is not the same, as Christians are in a position of power in this country. These two amazingly intelligent women make me laugh out loud every episode. If you’re trying to figure out your way down the anti-racism path, but don’t know where to start, or even if you're well into the journey, striving to be the best ally you can be, this is MADE for you! You won’t regret listening to every episode! Put on the Birks!
Heather and Delaney are amazing storytellers that invite you in on your level and leave you with an amazing, in depth education about deep topics. I’m so lucky to bear witness to their work outside this podcast, but what you are hearing so is real and genuine to who they are. Share this podcast far and wide, there is so much important work that needs to be done!
This is the absolute BEST podcast I’ve listened to. I can’t sit through podcasts. I try. I’m a perpetual learner but I have to read everything, there is something about the experience of voices without faces (I can’t listen to radio talk either). Heather and Delaney’s presence and engaging way of communicating just draws you in; you want to learn more. Take a listen, I promise you will love what you hear and stay for the anti-racism information!
I’m really loving the conversations in this podcast! They are comfortable and relatable but also give us a much deeper understanding of the subject matter. These are the conversations we all need to be having and it’s great that we can listen in here!
