    This is an amazing podcast! I absolutely love the humor and the connection I feel when listening to it. It’s a dream of mine to travel and hopefully one day move to japan I’m learning the language now and it’s really nice to have some more insight into the culture. It’s a nice twist to have English and the Japanese language is incorporated together I feel like I’m learning a lot so thank you both for taking the time to make this :)

  • A Very American Husband

    At first I thought that the relationship between him and his wife was relatable, but the more that I listen to it then the more I am surprised that a husband that has lived in Japan for 20 years is so culturally insensitive. But what’s worse is that he hushes 🤫 her like she’s a disobedient child and he corrects her constantly.     Iko and Ako bring great perspectives being a foreigner and Japanese person repsectively. They give insight in current Japanese trends so not only is it informative, they also use Terreace House as a way of addressing cultural practices.
