I’m loving this podcast! I am planning to plant my first garden this year and didn’t know where to start. I also want to be able to preserve my food to enjoy year round, and this podcast has it all! Shanna gives the right balance between detail without it being overwhelming for beginners. I’ve probably listened to 10 episodes already, and I’m definitely going to be listening to more and revisiting many finished ones!
I’m a second year gardener (first time in my current area, so kind of like a brand new gardener), and this is my favorite beginner gardening podcast so far. Information is presented in a concise way, with enough detail to actually satisfy my curiosity and offer real value. The host has a very pleasant voice and is charming without being saccharine. Great work!
This is great! I like that you step us through every process and don’t skip over parts. I’ve struggled to understand onion, garlic and potato growing/harvesting and you laid it out plain and simple. You have some very helpful tips and tools (almanac planning guide! Wow!) I want to hear more from you on more plants and flowers and pests! Good job! Oh and no ads! ✔️
I LOVE this podcast, I’m a beginner but know enough that beginner information usually leaves me wanting much more -not with this podcast though! I love how she breaks things down into easy to digest nuggets and her voice is so nice and soothing. I also appreciate how she shares personal experience without rambling or going off topic.... pure gold for beginners!
What a fabulous podcast! more
