  • Amazing Resource for Prospective Students!

I am a CVICU RN applying this cycle. This podcast and Anesthesia Guidebook have been accessible and understandable resources to use. Jon tackles technical topics, as well as current events in the Anesthesia world in an way so interesting, I listen to it in my free time. 10/10 recommend to all ICU nurses, even if you are pursuing a different career path!

  • An innovative and precious jewel for Anesthesia

Such an amazing podcast to refer to in all aspects of an anesthesia provider. I am sure by now that Jon Lawrence is aware of how much his podcast has contributed and will contribute to the anesthesia community, especially to aspiring CRNAs. The audio-learner in everything is being rediscovered with podcasts and it is incredibly amazing seeing them being incorporated as supplemental learning resources for the DNP program 5 years after the ‘swing the bat’ episode (btw, my favorite). 😊

  • Great anesthesia podcast!

Awesome, interesting podcast covering a variety of CRNA topics from starting school to late careers. As a SRNA it has helped me familiarize myself with the profession and what I have to look forward to!

  • Well-Rounded Anesthesia Podcast.

This podcast has been paramount in my training as an SRNA. I listened to it before I went to CRNA school and I listen to it now with a much different mindset. There are various topics ranging from anesthesia drugs to health and wellness. There are also plenty of reassuring, educational, intro-level topics aimed at SRNAs, or anesthesia residents. Jon does a very good job of using the latest evidence to back these topics up, too! Highly recommended!

  • Covid doesn’t stop this podcast

Thank you so much John for your sound advice and shedding light on your current and best practices. In this time of pandemic I’ve never been more of a fan of the show. You are informing us anesthesia providers on what it looks like outside our hospitals. Thank you x 100 for bringing up-to-date findings, studies and information to our community.
