I wanted to like this podcast, but they don’t talk about the episodes. Nick seems to dominate the conversations by trying to be a therapist and espouse his philosophies on life. They clearly record a bunch of these back-to-back and don’t watch the episodes or even have a synopsis or outline of what happened in the episode. They’re just talking about whatever they want and then try to make some fake connection to the episode after they go off topic.
I really DO want to like this show. I’m just truly confused how the episodes are hardly talked about each week. I was so excited for this podcast, but am struggling to keep listening due to how off topic it is each week. I’ve loved the episodes with Principal Wexler, Steve, and Ruby. I do hope they will read these reviews and revamp their set up!
They never actually talk about the episode they are recapping and Christy is trying to hard to seem “cool” by swearing all the time.
This is a tough one. They need a producer to reign everyone in. No recap, it seems that they don’t know what episode they are recapping. Overall, this one is a giant disaster. Definitely a lesser rewatch podcast. I’ll give it one or 2 more episodes.
Cool concept, but the episodes are never about the show. Like don’t title it “recap episode 3,” then not discuss the episode. It’s too off topic for 25 minutes, then you give a brief review of the episode for 45 seconds, then end it. The conversation is literally just Christie’s show vulnerable again. Make those stand alone episodes if you need to discuss your feelings, as well as the interviews separate. Then separate episodes reviewing the episode. You need someone that brings the conversation... more
