Emmaus Church is a Gospel-Centered body of believers in Buford, Georgia. As part of the Acts 29 Network of Churches ( we believe that our mission has been clearly communicated by our Lord Jesus when He commanded, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20) It is our belief that every member of Christ's church, in obedience to this Great Commission, should view his/herself as a missionary for Jesus Christ in his/her current context (culture, neighborhood, workplace, school, city, team, club, etc).
