I thought this would be an eye-opening look at problems in the yoga world that too often get covered up, a way to bring forward the stories of victims who deserve to be heard. Didn’t think this was another in the tired genre of gross, exploitative true crime podcasts - until I got to the ‘Lululemon murder’ episode. Not sure what about the brutal murder of a young woman seemed so funny to the hosts, but the tone felt extremely disrespectful. They were laughing and making jokes about the murder we... more

BRAVA!! Truly enjoy the truth being told about the yoga community/teachers/systems one would assume is always above board, but yeah- what a load of truth telling. Thank you.
I liked the One Taste episode so I tried the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh episodes but I had to give up partway through the first one. I find banter-type podcasts fun but wow, the host of that show was cackling at least every minute in response to quips from the other co-host. There’s less laughing on comedy podcasts with actual jokes. The quips were not even funny - not offensive just not needing the constant breaking into laughter. It just kept happening over and over. I was curious to hear their ta... more
I really wanted to get into this podcast because I think it’s an extremely important topic that is not addressed nearly enough in yoga communities. And the logo/name? Genius. But I tried the first two episodes and it’s basically unlistenable. One person reading information they found online about a yoga scandal (no personal connection or whistleblower, just “research”) while the other constantly chimes in with a nervous giggle. Maybe the later episodes get better. But I sat through an hour of ep... more
