  • A great listen!

A great listen on a daily basis. I listen all through the day and can’t stop listening. I appreciate the way issues are being laid out and discussed and how the Bible is really elucidated. It brings good perspective on pertinent issues in Christianity, especially grey areas that seem to cause disputings. Great job Brother Tony!

Exploring Hedonism, Free Will, and God’s Design | Free For All Friday's Cogitations s7e9
Q: How might heaven be different from the current world in relation to sin and free will?
In heaven, there will be no law. There shall no wise enter into it anything that defile it, neither whatsoever worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they which are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Exploring Hedonism, Free Will, and God’s Design | Free For All Friday's Cogitations s7e9
Q: Could God have set the dial of temptation to a lower level while still preserving free will?
Yes, technically, but in practice, no. If man didn't have the drives that man had, then man wouldn't be able to tame the world the way man has done.
Exploring Hedonism, Free Will, and God’s Design | Free For All Friday's Cogitations s7e9
Q: Why is hedonism so appealing to the carnal mind?
It is to our normal biological needs. What is refined sugar is to sugar cane. Hedonism is taking one hyperspecific focus and saying, I'm going to satisfy the lust of my flesh.
about Free For All Friday, Listener driven show s7e2
Q: What's a Christian's response to Luigi Mangione?
The Christian response is that a man is innocent until proven guilty, and if he is guilty, he should face capital punishment according to God's word.
about the frequency of the Lord's Supper
Q: Is it possible that we infer too much from the text regarding weekly observance of the Lord's Supper?
Brewer acknowledges that it is a valid question and asserts that the text suggests a pattern of regular, likely weekly observance of the Lord's Supper.
