Really love the podcast! This episode really stood out to me because it is something I do. Frustrated with work, eat. Frustrated at home, eat. I love the ideas for building up tolerance to frustration. Really appreciate the time Dr. Kashey puts into the pod and episodes.
I can relate to this episode so much. All the episodes are great! This one resonates with me because my excuse is always I have too much going on. I’ll start when things calm down. I’ll never move forward if I don’t change my mindset!
This episode meant so much to me because it helped explain a train of thought 8 have been stuck in for my entire life. I do care, and when I say I don’t I’m just living to syself because sooner or later I do actually end up caring, but I’ve gotten myself deeper into whatever rut I’m stuck in and trying to change. Dr Knashey will help you figure out how to get things done! I loved this episode. Have some coffee with Kasey and learn something new about yourself.
I can completely relate to Tabitha’s story. I am a professional at shaming myself. I didn’t tie it to abuse and withheld food as a child until I listened to this podcast. Dr. Kashey’s lesson here shined a light on why I might be so used to shaming myself. I’m on week two of TKN’s kickstart and cannot wait to learn the skills to stop applying these destructive punishments to myself.
The first episode I listened to was from December called “Fatter, Angrier, Sicker “. I really connected with the concept of influence vs control. This was something I have learned in the last few years in my golf game. I now see a shot as not good or bad but on a continuum of outcomes based on my shot pattern. You can influence the probability of success of a shot by aiming in a way that is aware of your own tendencies in conjunction with what is in front of you on the course. more
