  • Informative and highly enjoyable

    These tech video podcasts are really well produced. They include a wide range of technology from food technology to the latest developments in smart technology in the home. The opinions are insightful and highly informative. The length of the "Daily Charge" is ideal for any commute (obviously not if you're driving, in which case listen to the audio only! ). The critical analysis of topics is just right for that length of podcast and you get a good sense of what works and what doesn't work about ... more

  • actual video news being replaced by in-the-bubble pontificating

    Increasingly, I don't see video news stories, but just video of people sitting around glibly chatting (...yes, its lots cheaper than doing actual video news segments). To make it worse, many stories critical of silicon valley, big tech, etc are discussed with an incredibly inside-the-bubble mindset. GET SOME PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE BAY AREA TO PONTIFICATE TOO if thats all you are going to show! Get some European perspective for example.

  • Poor audio quality and questionable reporting

    The biggest issue with this podcast is the spotty audio quality and production. Sound seems to be run by interns or missing a QC department, which is shocking for what looks like a large corporation. I try to catchup once a week with these folks and everytime, I am constantly reaching for the volume control. Three episodes sound fine, then the next one is super soft. Guess what happens after the soft episode... yep, my ears hurt as I quickly have to reach for the volume control. I've learned to ... more
