Unless you're really into your football comics history, chances are you've never heard of Champ's 'We Are United', the seminal strip that debuted when the comic launched in the spring of '84. But these guys will bring you up to speed in no time and also dip in and out of the better known Fleetway football strips of the time. But for me, this really is about 'We Are United'. It was different, grittier, more realistic and deserves to be better known. more
