Artwork for Black Tea

Toronto is a multicultural hotspot. But the diversity that makes the city special isn’t often reflected in the stories we hear and the discussions we have. Black Tea will change that. Dalton Higgins and Melayna Williams are here to bring important and uncomfortable Black community conversations out in the open, and to have some laughs while doing it.

Thank you for being REAL! It’s so refreshing to have one’s thoughts out in the open. As a blk person, there is no time like the NOW to speak up and say how we REALLY feel. As you always say UNAPOLOGETIC. more

The timely and overdue addressing of issues of race and politics is covered by these hosts with fresh perspectives and obvious chemistry. It’s great to see Canadian content at this level and looking forward to Season 3.

It has been fantastic to discover this podcast. It fills the void with content that speaks to Black people & People of African descent living in Canada. The range of topics of the podcasts I have listened to really speak to things I am curious about -- Respectability Politics, Sports, Queerness. I suppose all of the things speak to me and parts of my identity and outlook on the World as a Black person living in this particular space and time. Excellent work. Check it out and wait for the "... more
