The below is still valid, but during the pandemic the BMFcast continued to chug along in some form. For other podcasts this is because it is how they make money. Unlike the countless other bad movie podcasts, these guys don’t just enjoy garbage and sleaze for it’s own sake, and can tell when something is actually entertaining. Also, their plot rundowns, in addition to being amusing, are extremely helpful in deciding which of these endless films are actually worth watching!
I love the movie reviews but enough talking politics. The last episode they literally said that they can’t watch stuff with bad characters because it hits to close to home about trump now. I do not like trump either, but I have not liked any politician in my lifetime. It is ironic how they poke fun at how much they get called “sjw” while at the same time morphing into actual “sjw”s.
Man, what the heck happened to this podcast? This used to be a fun apolitical celebration of “guy flicks.” Now, you literally can’t get half an hour into an episode without someone whining about problematic content their dad would have shamefully championed in the 80s. This podcast based a rating system around Robot Jox, for Heaven’s sakes! Now they check their privilege on a daily basis. What a tragedy.
