  • Addictively Entertaining

I have listened to every current episode of “Bad Book Bash”. I now am anxiously awaiting the arrival of newer episodes to fill the void in my heart left from being unable to listen to this podcast during all waking hours of my day. Endless fun, addictively entertaining, and eye opening to some of the nonsense that is deemed acceptable in current “romantasy” publications. As an aspiring author, I hope that my writing isn’t complete garbage so you never feel the need to rip it apart for the world... more

  • Love it!

Bad Book Bash showed up in my Instagram feed and I downloaded some episodes before a plane flight. I hate flying, but instead of being scared, I cackled like a hyena the whole flight. I listened to ‘His retribution’ - thank you for your analysis and all the laughs. I’ll now listen to previous seasons. Let’s get Thai food!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Interview with Author Elizabeth Redmond
Q: What were some of the major hurdles and stumbles that you had and how did you overcome them?
The biggest struggle was the editing process and getting out of my own way due to imposter syndrome.
Interview with Author Elizabeth Redmond
Q: Can you describe Orla for the listening?
She makes a brief appearance in the beginning of the book because she is just the Irish immigrant nanny to Amanda and Ed and helps in New York.
Kissing Coffins: Episode 2
Q: Is it like, should she have a little bit of shame or is it like, no, at least you're owning it, girl boss?
It is leaning really hard into the trope unapologetically, which is neither good nor bad.
Darren Shan Interview Re-Edited and Re-Released!
Q: Was there an inspiration for Mr. Crepsley?
No, he grew by himself through the writing process; I never intended him to be the way he turned out.
Darren Shan Interview Re-Edited and Re-Released!
Q: Are you team Edward or team Jacob?
I haven't read the books. The film seemed like a parody, and it just wasn’t for me.
