This is a fun and fascinating look at stories hidden in all sorts of archives. Totally history-nerd bingeworthy!
These podcasts have been fascinating, ranging from British nationals taking the red bus to fight fascism in Spain, the goings on of royal dukes living privileged lives with servants tending to every need. Daughters committing patricide to achieve freedom to marry her lover (who turns out to be married already), and that’s only three. Can’t recommend highly enough.
This is a brilliant, highly engaging and thoroughly researched podcast - Georgina Asfaw presents the historical stories with such delightful humour that I found myself laughing out loud at some points despite the seriousness of the subject matter! I was absolutely gripped from episode 1 and I’m so looking forward to listening to more!
